RFPQ and Results

Reference is made to the Announcement issued in the Kuwait Official Gazette (Al Kuwait Al-Youm), Supplement to Issue No. 797, dated 11 December 2006, wherein Kuwait NFP published its intention to qualify local and international entities in the area of planning and supervision of environmental rehabilitation and remediation projects referred to in the United Nations Compensation Commission Decision 258 (2005).  Please be advised that Kuwait NFP has completed and has received approval for its analysis and review of the Capability Statements of Prequalification submitted in response to the referenced Announcement by the entities seeking to provide Kuwait NFP with planning and supervision services for the environmental rehabilitation and remediation projects.  See List of firms and entities pre-qualified by Kuwait NFP to submit Tenders for the Project Planning and Supervision Consultant (PPSC) for the Kuwait Environmental Projects (Kuwait RFP No. 3).   Note:  A number of firms or consortiums on the short-list contain individual members that have not been qualified due to their prior work on Kuwaiti Monitoring and Assessment (M&A) projects, which is precluded by Condition 4 to the Request for Pre-qualification.  For these situations, the list of pre-qualified firms and entities provided individually to the companies eligible to submit Tender proposals contains only the names of the qualified members of the consortiums.

All pre-qualified entities listed on Kuwait NFP’s website will receive notification from Kuwait NFP detailing the circumstance and conditions (if any) of their pre-qualification status.  Entities with conditions applied to their pre-qualification must comply with the conditions stated in the letters before submitting their Tender bids to Kuwait NFP. Non-compliance with pre-qualification conditions will result in the disqualification of the bids.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Terms of Reference (ToR) and related Tender documents for the PPSC will be announced at a later stage.  Kindly continue to monitor the Kuwait NFP website for updated information on the details of the PPSC Tender Announcement.

Those seeking further information or having questions regarding this Announcement may send their inquiries by e-mail to legal@kuwaitnfp.com.  In the alternative, the Kuwait NFP Coordinator may be contacted during official working hours using the telephone/fax numbers provided below.
