Questions & Answers - PPSC

Q1.    Kuwait NFP highlights RFPQ form.  Is there another form?

A1.    No.  The RFPQ document is the form.  There are no other form.

Q2.    Would it be valid submission if the PPSC RFPQ response was made available through a password protected company website with direct access password protected links?

A2.    The 20 page single sided response to the PPSC RFPQ should be submitted electronically to Kuwait NFP using the email address proscribed in the RFPQ.  Entities wishing to provide Kuwait NFP with additional documents which are not part of the 20 page response may refer Kuwait NFP to company websites or produce the documents in hard copies or on electronic media.

Q3.  Provide clarification of Point 2(h) in Section D Initial Screening of the RFPQ.

A3.   Entities, who have worked on the M&A projects either as a main contractor or subcontractor, and the M&A work is directly related to the remediation projects, are not eligible to participate in the remediation program.  Entities having worked as a main contractor or subcontractor on the M&A program and their work is not connected to the remediation project, e.g. the public health studies are eligible to participate in the remediation program.

Q4.  Can you send us a copy of the RFP?

A3   The RFP is not yet announced.  Kuwait NFP is still in the process of

prequalifying entities for the PPSC work.  Request for Prequalifcation (RFPQ) is

available on Kuwait NFP website at www.kuwaitnfp.com.

Q5.  In reference to RFPQ Information, D. Initial Screening Criteria, item 2(i) [page 4]:  The requirement to “list and provide a brief description of all environmental activities performed within the last two years” will require a significant number of pages to address, given that our Team has completed hundreds of projects in the last two years.

Given the 20-page constraint on the RFPQ, can we interpret this requirement to limit our response to providing a “representative sampling of projects” completed within the last two years that portray our experience in execution, management and supervision and planning?  This would be in lieu of including “all activities” over the last two years.

A5.  Yes, you may limit your response by providing Kuwait NFP a representative sample of projects completed within the last two years which accurately reflects the firms experience in execution, management, supervision and planning.

Q6.    In reference to Clarification Notes [page 8]:  Will it be acceptable to NFP to provide additional information in a CD format, rather than in hard copies?

A6     Yes, it is acceptable to Kuwait NFP to provide additional information not included in the 20 page Capability Statement, in a CD format.
